The market witnessed a bearish session today. After a gap-down opening, the Nifty surged towards its resistance level of 24890 and reversed, followed by a downside move towards the 24647 level, closing negative near this level by 156 points, i.e., 0.63%. Meanwhile, the Bank Nifty remained bearish throughout the session and closed negative by 444 points, i.e., 0.79%.
