The market witnessed a bearish session today. After a gap-down opening of around 60 points, Nifty started falling and touched the low of 24810 and then consolidated for the whole day near this level hence closing negative by 255 points i.e. 0.90% near the level of 24830. Meanwhile, the Bank Nifty gained a bearish momentum post flat opening, and touched the low of 56450 and closed negative by 537 points i.e. 0.94%.
