The market witnessed a bearish momentum today. Nifty opened gap down of around 60 points, and then started falling towards the level of 24460 and made a bearish move of 300 points, followed by a recovery of 170 points, hence closing slightly above 24600 on a negative end, while Bank Nifty opened gap down. It was volatile and made swings in both directions, hence closing on a negative note.
