The Nifty witnessed a volatile session today. Soon after a flat opening, Nifty made a sharp plunge of approximately around 200 points and took support from the level of 24530 and it made a sharp recovery from today's low levels towards 24740 followed by a short consolidation hence closing near 24700 which is slightly on a positive end while Bank Nifty also followed the same trend but it closed more positive by 154 points.
