The market saw a consistent bearish trend over the past week. The escalation of geopolitical tensions in the Middle East, particularly regarding reciprocal tariff policies announced by US President, triggered a sharp downturn in the global markets. As a result, Nifty tumbled by 700 points i.e. 2.6% and reached the level of 22860 from 23600. The Nifty Midcap Select index fell by 3.15%, while Nifty Small Cap 100 index dropped by 2.6%. Sectoral wise, Majorly Nifty IT index witnessed a fall of 9.15%, whereas Nifty Metal dropped by 7.46%
