The market witnessed a bearish session today. After a flat opening, the Nifty started falling towards the 25150 level, followed by a short recovery, and then dropped to 25100, closing negative by 0.40% near this level. Meanwhile, the Bank Nifty remained bearish throughout the day. It fell from 57250 towards the level of 56800, hence closing negative by 340 points.
